Adam Freeland/The Doors : Hello I Love You Remix

One of my favorite DJ's, was going to put up Tectonics but then remembered this little thing from last year and figured it would get me more hits, and maybe, just maybe, someone who I don't know and will never meet would end up downloading something else from this blog that would like, totally change their life maaaaaaan.

From the record company site . . .

Another Rock bootleg? Well er.... actually no, its not. The Doors’ management personally requested Adam to remix what has to be one of the best-known songs of all time. A daunting task perhaps, but when digging through the multitracks in The Doors archive he discovered a whole section of Morrison’s vocals that have never been heard before. The original had a fade-out ending, but the multitracks revealed a whole heap of screaming Jim. Pure Gold! A sample-digger and remixers dream! Freeland puts his big soundsystem club-rock spin on the mix taking the big hooks from the original and building it up to a huge screaming creshendo using these treasured hysterical screams and the breakdown.

Hello, I Love You is on 12" vinyl only, out now!
